I have always been a fan of Grid Computing. But I am afraid I can not help changing the world by participating in World Community Grid project, because as always, my country isn't listed in their list:

From Jonathan Schwartz Comments on the Symantec-Veritas Deal:
Q: What about these rumors that Sun is going to buy Red Hat or Novell?A: We never comment on rumor and speculation. We understand customers are increasingly concerned about the lock-in of Red Hat's proprietary Linux, but rather than acquire the company, we plan on acquiring their customers one by one - with native Linux execution in Solaris 10.
Already exists in FreeBSD. But who needs it? :-)
I am living on the same planet as you are . Under the same blue sky. More precisely at 35.40 North and 51.26 East. In the middle east.
Sometimes when I am filling up a personal information form on a website, when it comes to the "Country" combo box, I prepare myself to select a false country name. Because my country (with almost 70 million population) is not listed!
I can not have Wired Magazine subscription, and Amazon.com does not ship goods to my country.
Even worth, I can not browse OpenOffice or NetBeans (screenshot) website! I can not download Java from Sun.
I am Restricted. I am Forbidden. My access is denied: I am a proud Persian.

If I decide to buy a new Pocket PC, HP iPAQ hx4700 will be my only choice.
It is powered by a 624Mhz Intel PXA270 processor (fassssst!), 4 inches TFT display (640x480), integrated WiFi (802.11b), IrDA (SIR and FIR), Bluetooth, Integerated SD and CF slots, 192MB memory and a removable battery + many other things. (Full specs here)
Its a powerful device, a really amazing and different product from HP. Powerful enough for run many apps at the same time. One thing I really like about Pocket PCs is that you can use them as a wireless IP Phone (Integrated WiFi plus SJPhone).
If their iPAQ h6315 had such processor like hx4700, then it was all the best things in one box. Alas! It comes with a 160 Mhz processor. :-(
Good news for spammers all around the world: Now most Yahoo! users have a big mailbox. You can fill it up with 250 meg of pure spam! And I bet Yahoo! will help you out.
I have a Yahoo! account since 1998, but I never use my Yahoo! email address ( I have my own domain for web and mail since 1999 ). But everytime, once in a while, when I check my Yahoo mail its full if spam and unsolicited messages.
So this storage upgrade is not a good new for me (and most of users), but for spammers.
Now, after a while, I am posting this from my ipaq 3850, and Linksys WCF12 wireless CF card (thanks to Payam).
I'll be posting more soon.
