Harddisk

Instead of investing in SETI Project or putting effort into Human Proteome Folding Project, I guess people should research on faster storages (e.g Harddisks) for personal computers. The Harddisk throughput problem is the most important issue I have with all of my computers.

Well, I am actually planning for a NAS with FreeBSD and vinum based RAID 5 array. I am planning to use some of my existing harddisks.
But FC arrays seems to be expensive for home.
